NEWS: Despite not having romantic experiences, he opened up about writing love songs.
Ahn Ji Young, the popular solo artist of BOL4, also known as BOLBBALGAN4, recently transformed with her ninth mini-album, 'Mary Go Round.' Presenting five newly released tracks, she participated in the Limozeen Musical Talk Show, a limousine service.
During the Limozeen service, BOL4 shared insights, or the lack thereof about personal experiences that inspired the songs on her new album. The ninth mini-album includes two title tracks, 'Snowball' and 'Eternal Love.' Regarding the latter, she explained it as a song about 'limitless love.'
She expressed, 'I won't say I love him; I'll be a good person and protect him!' as the theme of the song.
Ahn Ji Young wanted to know if her personal experiences inspired BOL4's songs or if they were fictional. BOL4 humorously responded that the songs won't be based on personal experiences because she hasn't felt them herself.
She explained that she is a homemaker and draws inspiration from movies, shows, and books. When in need of more inspiration, she turns to her friends and asks them about their experiences.
BOL4 added that she wants more experiences but assured Ahn Ji Young that her songs feel genuine, regardless of where the inspiration comes from. BOL4 mentioned that many of her love songs were about one-sided love, and Ahn Ji Young agreed that they were relatable.
Ahn Ji Young playfully threw the question asking if BOL4's love was only one-sided, and the talented solo artist acknowledged that it was true, revealing this humorous response before delving into the heartfelt subject.
