Santa, known as The Real Santa, shared the video on Instagram immediately after, expressing pride in the moment and emphasizing the importance of ensuring children feel respected. He thanked the girl's parents for instilling confidence in her to use powerful words, even in a familial setting.
The post continued with a message of love: "We always encourage at home that she gets to decide if she wants a hug or a kiss, even if it's family!"
"As she grows, I've always taught her to be strong and to do what you say and what you want, and I want my daughter to have complete control over her body. There's no need to make someone uncomfortable. She has the power to say no," Santa added.
In the video, Santa mentioned that the girl had almost cried during every event. He shared that he keeps a journal after every event and told her on that night that the most valuable thing he did was talking to her. He felt that he was there for her, and it made the time worthwhile. Love, in the video, called it a meaningful moment and expressed that love is about speaking.
