Drake had been present to hint at the leaked video discussed in his latest Instagram story, which seemingly portrayed him involved in sexual activity.

Just a week after explicit deepfake images of singer Taylor Swift were extensively shared on the platform, a sex tape was circulated on Tuesday (February 6th) featuring the Canadian rapper amid a wildfire controversy.

It was claimed by TikStreamer Adin Ross that Drake referred to him as "eight laughing emojis," indicating his reaction to the leak. The "IDGAF" artist suggests he is unfazed by the attention.

A few hours after the leak, Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, posted a photo on his Instagram stories that initially seemed unrelated to frustration.

However, the photo could be interpreted as a hint at the tape, as it was shot in his private jet, and the caption read: "Cashville I'm home."

Drake's representatives declined a request for comment from The Independent regarding the allegations.

Towards the end of the week, he teased his fans by asking if they "want the truth" about his show before a big announcement.

"Hotline Bling" rapper is one of the best-selling music artists globally, having sold over 170 million records.

The "leak" video comes a few weeks after the emergence of X-rated deepfake images of Taylor Swift, which were said to be created using AI, portraying the pop star in explicit and convincingly realistic scenarios.

Within 19 hours, the posts garnered over 27 million views and accumulated more than 260,000 likes, before the account that shared the images was suspended shortly after, blocking searches for the singer's name.

Social media company's chief business officer Jo Bonarroch told The Wall Street Journal that this move was a "temporary measure" and the site had acted "with great caution" as a "precautionary measure" regarding this matter.

X stated that this kind of content posting is "strictly prohibited" and has a "zero-tolerance policy" towards it.

Although the company did not mention Swift by name, it said: "Our teams are actively removing all tagged images and taking appropriate action against accounts responsible for posting them to ensure the issue is resolved promptly and to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users.
