However, in 2023, when she started her podcast, 'The Really Good Podcast,' she gained fame.
Up until now, Althoff has interviewed rapper Drake, Lil Yachty, entrepreneur Mark Cuban, actor Rick Glassman, and YouTuber Funny Marco.
Known for her deadpan humor and her ability to make her interviewees uncomfortable in a friendly and desirable manner, Althoff has gathered over 7 million TikTok followers and over 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, where she posts her podcast episodes.
However, since her success, some have raised questions about who Althoff is and how she gained fame so quickly. Rumors have spread that she is a "factory" - someone who secretly supports artists in achieving their success.

So, who is Bobby Althoff? Everything about the TikTok influencer and podcaster is here to find out.
She started posting on TikTok in 2021.
Althoff started posting regularly on TikTok in 2021, primarily focusing on being a mother. Her early TikToks revolved around her second daughter and her pregnancy.
From July 2021 onwards, in her first public TikToks, Althoff wrote, "When people are talking about 'Grindin' by Minaj in a video talking about herself until she's at least 35+, instead of waiting for their 20-year-old children." She repeatedly sang, "Damn little mama you're so fine," imitating those who commented on her becoming a young mother, questioning, "Why waste your youth?" in the caption.
She continued posting videos until 2022, mainly about her pregnancy, such as clips of her dancing and battling nausea at Disneyland.
Later on, she joked about how she had hoped she could find herself or do something else, but it doesn't seem to happen. "It never comes; I'll be pregnant for the rest of my life, and it's something I have to accept," she said.
Her husband filed for divorce in 2024.
Bobby and her husband, Cory Althoff, married on January 31, 2020, and have two children together. Unfortunately, in February 2024, Cory filed for divorce. He had listed July 4, 2023, as the date of their separation.
"At this moment, as devastated as I am, I am so grateful for the time of being his wife," Bobby wrote on Instagram after the news broke. "Though we have not functioned as husband and wife, we will always be friends, and I will always love him."
According to her LinkedIn, Cory is a programmer who works as a Senior Vice President in Computer Science, and a self-taught published author of two books on computer science and coding.
In April 2023, Cory was seen on Bobby's TikTok in a rare appearance as they made a promotional video together for a bounty. In the video, they discussed how Cory cleans their house while Bobby takes care of their children, explaining that she usually gets tired since she takes care of them all night.
In the BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy, Bobby shared that she doesn't sleep with her husband because she shares her bed with her two children.
She shares two daughters with Cory.
Althoff has two daughters, whose names and identities she keeps private. Though she never shows their faces, she has highlighted her younger daughter on her TikTok since her birth in June 2022.
During her younger daughter's first public appearance, Althoff posted a video a few weeks after giving birth when she was ready to work with the newborn.
"I will put the baby to work so I can do some laundry and tidy up around the house," she said on TikTok.
She has named her daughter Concrete, defending her choice in a comment with a video posted in November 2022. "I don't see anything wrong with the name Concrete," she said. "It's a very common word, so I don't understand why it wouldn't make a good name. My daughter is becoming a very strong woman with a very strong name."
She maintained, "I've grown up in the construction business, and I've always wanted my daughter to have a relationship with it. Yes, her name is Concrete Sadist Althoff, so I'm excited for you guys when it comes time for us to name our boys, because if we stop caring about what we name our children, it could be a good thing."
Althoff has deleted all her videos with her children, explaining in the B
In April, in a TikTok promoting his podcast, Althaf wrote about how starting a podcast had always been his dream.
"I've always dreamt of doing my own podcast... so I created a pilot episode," he wrote. "Everyone I showed it to said it was terrible... they said I wouldn't make celebrity guests feel safe... that nobody would watch it... but I proved them wrong... it got 6 views and I've convinced a famous competitor to do an episode with me... never give up on your dreams. Ever."
In an interview with Today in August 2023, Althaf said he had the idea of starting a podcast using the "dry humor" character he's familiar with – and stressed that it wasn't something he lived in real life.
A week later, Althaf shared with Cosmopolitan how he didn't prepare much for his interview – but thought his casual style set them apart.
"There was no preparation, and it's fun," he explained. "I think that's why celebrities have taken to it. They know it's a character, and we're just winging it. It's not a real interview. I'm not trying to get hard-hitting information — I'm trying to have some release. It's really a parody of a good interview."
He interviewed Drake and Lil Yachty in July 2023.
After an interview with YouTuber Fanny Marco that garnered over 2 million views, Althaf went viral. But his fame skyrocketed when he teased that the next episode of his podcast would be with Drake.
On Today, Althaf said the interview came about when Drake watched his episode with Fanny Marco and liked the video and followed him.
"When I saw that he was following me, I thought I'd ask," he said. He slid into his DMs and three days later, he was in bed doing his interview.
The full hour-long interview on YouTube, published on July 20, 2023, has garnered over 9 million views. During the interview with the star, Althaf maintained a steady, calm tone and didn't gush over Drake – or that they were conducting the interview from the same bed.
"The premise behind it was it would be a funny thing where you're trying to make it so bad that you're annoying him by going to bed while doing the interview," he explained to Today. "Now we're doing all my podcasts in a similar situation."
In a particularly humorous and exciting moment, Althaf told Drake it wasn't time to take his interview yet.
"It's a nightcap!" he said.
"It's tragic," he replied.
A few weeks after interviewing Drake, fans noticed that certified lover boy rapper and podcast host unfollowed each other on Instagram and Althaf removed his interview from all of his platforms.
Althaf posted a TikTok a few days after posting about his concert with Drake on his profile, where people were dancing around him while he stood in the middle of the chaos with a deadpan expression. "Truly my element @ this concert," he captioned the post.
In July 2023, Althaf posted another hour-long interview with rapper Lil Yachty where the two young parents joked about fame and their careers. In the middle of the interview, Drake even called Lil Yachty and wished him luck.
"What's up, dad?" Drake told Lil Yachty, turning his phone towards him.
In August 2023, he interviewed Mark Cuban.
He shared that his podcast Pop Off had always been "explicitly going to be wild, you expect something but it's actually crazy," he said.
