Hours before her husband’s controversial behavior, Maíra had already defended herself against criticism and accusations that she used her son’s loss to gain attention on social media.
“No one kills their own child for marketing. This is sick, people’s minds are twisted. I stopped trying to understand this a long time ago. I have no hurt, no anger,” Maíra said. “I don’t want to hear that I killed my child.”
