Reality TV personality Georgia Harrison has opened up about her struggles with an explicit video of hers that is still available online.

Harrison’s ex-partner, Stephen Bear, was convicted of sharing a private video of them together.
According to the BBC, she waived her right to anonymity, and Bear, a 35-year-old from Loughton, Essex, was sentenced to 21 months in prison in 2023.

The 30-year-old recently appeared in an ITV documentary where she explores the issue of deepfakes and image-based sexual abuse.
While it remains unclear whether she will be able to convince people not to spread her explicit video through her documentary, a quick Google search shows that demand for the clip has significantly increased.
Responding to a question about the challenges she faced while making the documentary, she said, "I would say, obviously, the hardest part for me was seeing how widely available my video still is."

She added, "I constantly receive messages from people sending me clips of it. It’s always in the back of my mind, but seeing exactly where it was and how many places it had spread was a real struggle for me."
Georgia Harrison stated, "The only way it will ever be impossible for victims of image-based sexual abuse—like myself—to have their videos removed from the internet is through greater awareness and for governments and high-level internet organizations to come together and tackle it."
She continued, "For me, I know this wasn’t the easiest thing to do, but it’s the best thing I could do for my future and for the future of other women.
